We collect information to provide a personalized practice dashboard and render AI reviews:

• Account Information: Email address, name, and profile credentials provided through our authentication partner, Clerk.
• Practice Data: Your code submissions, selected practice modes (Learning/Interview), committed approaches, signals fired, stopwatch times, and AI coaching reviews.
• Transaction Data: Details of subscription plans and billing sessions managed securely by Stripe. We do not store or process credit card numbers directly.
• Usage and Error Logs: Diagnostic data, page performance, and application errors logged via Sentry and PostHog.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is processed strictly for the following purposes:

• To initialize and manage your practice session state and save code drafts.
• To pass your approach text and source code to our AI providers (such as Anthropic) to generate feedback reviews.
• To calculate and chart longitudinal score trends and practiced patterns on your Profile.
• To manage entitlement checks, quota tracking, and subscription billing.
• To monitor application errors and analyze product features.

3. Third-Party Data Processors

We share relevant subsets of data with the following trusted third-party service providers:

• Clerk — User accounts, sign-in flows, and authentication session tokens.
• Stripe — Credit card billing, subscription state, and portal checkouts.
• Anthropic (Claude API) — AI code analysis and coaching note generation.
• PostHog — Cookieless product usage analytics.
• Sentry — Server and client exception monitoring.
• Resend — Welcome emails and billing transactional receipts.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We utilize only essential, functional cookies and local browser storage to keep you signed in, preserve active code drafts, and cache your dark/light theme selection.

5. Data Retention and Your Rights

You retain full control over your data. You may request account deletion at any time via Settings.

To respect your rights under GDPR and maintain historical analytics, we perform a **Data Anonymization** procedure upon account deletion: we delete your Clerk auth account, erase your name and email, and replace them with anonymous placeholders. We retain your anonymous attempt logs and score history.
